These also work amazingly as a introductory cutting knife for young children. The blade tapers to a fine edge but has no edge sharpened on it, so it is thin enough that kids don't need too much force to cut vegetables with it. If you rub the blade on your skin it won't cut it, and with a really rounded end it really is super-safe! My 3 year old absolutely loves to cut up the vegetables at tea time and has no problem even with tough veg like carrots!
6.5cm stainless blade, with a beech wood handle protected by a varnish. Or choose one of our painted hornbeam wood handles.
